ILWIS Open

ILWIS stands for Land and Water Integrated Information System. You can import or export data, it offers 3D and spatial data analysis. The most interesting feature of this program is its ability to fully integrate vector and raster manipulation, as well as the presence of additional functions and tools that are suitable for satellite imagery, as well as mapping and tables. This desktop application is intuitive to use. It has map thumbnails and a rich data catalog. The application allows you to both import and extract a very wide range of data formats and also helps you create and read geospatial raster and vector images using the GDAL library. ILWIS Open is licensed as free software for PCs or laptops running 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems. After you get the 29,12 MB (n52_ilwis_v3_08_01.zip) installation file double-click on the .exe file.
